Please allow us to help you transform your school as we have improved many North East Schools…
For the past 30 years Ambic has been manufacturing fitted and loose school furniture principally for schools in the North East of England being sold on a personal recommendation basis. Collectively our design staff have over 100 years of experience in school furniture making each installation extra special.
Ambic’s ethos is quite simple; we are genuine people making quality furniture comprising a small group of engineers and master craftsmen working confidently together building furniture to the engineering standards which we would like to own ourselves. All of our furniture is made to order therefore variations in colour, size and style are easily incorporated.
We design our furniture to be tasteful, ergonomic and durable and we manufacture all of our products in house as this control over design & production ensures reliability and quality whilst eliminating hold- ups. We have the freedom to design individual items or complete installations for customers which we can then incorporate into our product range – nothing is too difficult!
We supply directly to schools or educational establishments eliminating any mark-up, indeed we will not supply ‘through the trade’.
At the heart of the business and a major strength is our production facility which is a new factory built by the company from the ground up to be sustainable & efficient.
The factory is fully integrated with the raw materials of wood, metal, plastics, paint, fasteners etc. delivered to the northern end and fully finished furniture being loaded at the southern end. In between there are separate departments for working in hard & soft wood, sheet wood, steel tube, laminate, plastics, sheet metal and precision engineering. Our products are designed and manufactured from a multi-disciplined precision perspective giving consideration to all aspects of performance incorporating the strengths of each trade. This process eliminates problems as compared to products created by fragmented manufacture or by the dedicated trades of a welder or by a joiner or by a painter. ©2014
